Enventure Global Technology Enhances Middle East Business Development

HOUSTON (August 5, 2009) - Enventure Global Technology, the pioneer in solid expandable technology, today announced the addition of two business development managers to support its Middle East region.

Osama Abdalla will be based in Cairo where he will be responsible for developing the Egyptian and Libyan markets, while Ammar Al-Qaissy will be based in Tunis, responsible for establishing and developing Enventure’s business in Algeria and Tunisia.

"Because Enventure’s SET® technology has proven to be such a reliable resource in helping operators reach drilling and production goals, the breadth of applications has increased tremendously worldwide and in the Middle East region," said Rob McKee, general manager for Enventure. "For that reason, it is essential that we have personnel present throughout the regions we serve, and both Ammar and Osama know the industry terrain and have expertise that will help clients find high-value solutions for their specific operations. We are pleased to have them on staff to drive the solid expandable tubular market in the Middle East."

Abdalla has more than 19 years of industry experience and is well-versed in the industry’s technology tools. He has worked for several oilfield service companies, including Baker Hughes, Dresser Oil Tools, and Halliburton Energy Services, where he helped increase revenue and maintained safety records. Abdalla received his bachelor of science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Switzerland’s Robert Kennedy College at the University of Wales. He is a member of SPE.

With 20 years of technical and commercial oilfield industry experience, Al-Qaissy joins Enventure from Weatherford where he began as a service technician and worked his way up to serve as an account manager in Algeria. He has received a plethora of industry training from corporate and hands-on programs. Al-Qaissy’s oilfield knowledge ranges from tubular running services, centralization & cementation products to fishing and drilling tools.
