Utilizing solid expandable components and associated large diameter completion components across the lower sandface can provide the means to support larger production or injection rates. SET Systems can also potentially provide the means to accommodate controlled commingled production from more than two zones.

Maximum Reservoir Contact (MRC) Wells

By providing larger IDs, solid expandables provide enable multilateral wells to optimize directional drilling assemblies and bits. Larger ID accommodates the installation of large diameter remote operated flow control valves and pressure and temperature gauges across each lateral. This provides a means to commingle and control production flow as well as shut off selective laterals if the water influx becomes too great.
