Wellbores often experience internal corrosion due to produced liquids (including gas liquids). With varying success, corrosion is resolved using CRAs, coatings and chemical injection. However, when corrosion occurs, very long lengths of wellbores can be damaged.
External casing corrosion can also occur due to contact with formation liquids when casing is not cemented the full length of the wellbore. This can cause damage to significant sections of a wellbore. SET Cased-Hole Liners (CHLs) provide the cost-effective solution to repair any length of casing.
