President & CEO
Alastair McClean is president & CEO of Enventure Global Technology – the energy industry’s leading provider of solid expandable technology. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he held the position of Vice President of Enventure’s sales and operations for Eastern Hemisphere. Before joining Enventure in 2009 he had worked in the oil industry for 21 years, the majority spent with Baker Hughes. He held various positions within sales and operations management directing the use of business development techniques, strategy development, implementation and execution from country to global levels. During his career he has held several international assignment positions with exposure to markets spanning five continents. McClean received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ulster and has been published by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) of which he is a member.
VP, Eastern Hemisphere
Ken Barrie is Vice President Eastern Hemisphere for Enventure Global Technology. Prior to his appointment he held several key positions within the organization most recently as Region Director For Middle East and Asia Pacific. He has over 20 years Industry experience with Halliburton, Pathfinder and Baker Hughes where he held various positions initially focusing on wellbore construction and drilling optimization techniques before moving into sales management, business development, large account management and strategy deployment both locally and globally. Ken holds an HNC in Marine Electronics and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
VP, Western Hemisphere
John Callais brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his role of Western Hemisphere Vice President for Enventure Global Technology. His understanding of wellbore construction and midstream markets was gleaned from several domestic and international sales and operations management positions with Baker Hughes. John also served as vice president of domestic sales for Valerus Compression Services. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and holds a business administration degree, with a minor in finance, from Nicholls State University.
