Enventure, the world's leading provider of SET® solid expandable tubular solutions for the energy industry, today announced a new 8-year contract (including options) with Total E&P Norge AS, an exploration and production company on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, to deliver and supply SET® solid expandable tubular technology for contingency applications for the Martin Linge field development.

The Martin Linge, a high pressure, high temperature field located in the North Sea, is expected to begin producing in 2016 with estimated reserves of 189 million barrels of oil equivalent. Drilling will begin in the second half of 2014 and will include between 11 and 21 production wells. Additionally, the contract covers an undefined number of exploration/appraisal wells.

“Our extensive experience working across a wide range of sizes in complicated, high pressure applications is part of what qualified us to provide the best contingency expandable liner solutions to ensure the safest, most cost-effective production of this field,” said Eric Paulsen, Country Manager for Norway. “Enventure has a long working history with the Total Group, spanning 10 years of successful installations of our expandable liner in areas such as the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea and Indonesia, and is proud to partner with Total E&P Norge AS on this venture. The recent contract award represents a significant milestone, adding to our strong presence in Norway and proving our ability to add value to North Sea operators. We look forward to future opportunities to support Total E&P Norge AS in their business and the Martin Linge field development.”
