Solutions for Deepwater Intervention

Deepwater Intervention Objectives

Minimize non-productive time while restoring casing for production and maximizing recovery of reserves in deepwater wells.

Deepwater Production Challenges

In deepwater wells such as in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM), problems can occur with casing integrity during production operations or if production declines to unsustainable levels. A reliable and efficient repair or production-enhancement strategy is needed to minimize non-productive time and enable the well to be restored with the required well integrity and production capacity.

Deepwater Intervention Solutions

ESeal™ Liners and Patches to restore integrity

In deepwater wells, Enventure's expandable ESeal liners and casing patches can be used to restore wellbore integrity and well production, and to isolate perforations to shut off undesired intervals.

SET® Openhole liners to access new reserves

Enventure's expandable Openhole liner (OHL) can be used to access new reserves by sidetracking or well deepening.

Value

Using expandable solutions in deepwater wells allows leveraging of existing platform resources in the restoration of casing. This process:

  • enables production to continue with minimal non-productive time
  • isolates perforations to optimize production
  • maximizes reserves by sidetracking deepwater wells.
