Derek joined Enventure Global Technology in February 2024 and has more than 25 years of experience in global accounting and finance. He started his career in the UK with Ernst and Young before moving into industry roles both in the UK and the US  with Hess, Baker Hughes, Patterson UTI Energy and latterly National Trench Safety.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a degree in Business Studies from the Robert Gordon University.
